SoTL is not a single practice, but rather a spectrum of activities and commitments. It can begin with a single question or idea for a change in your classroom, and a simple strategy for documenting the effect of that change over a single class or term. Most of NYU’s most complex SoTL projects began with a very simple question: What could I try that would help my students learn?
NYU has a vibrant SoTL community, with contributions from many schools, disciplines and departments. Please search below for projects that might spark your interest, and reach out to the listed emails for more information.
Also, if you are involved in a SoTL project, or would like to share one you are familiar with, we would love to know about it. Please tell us about it here: https://forms.gle/cJnM2KimEf7K7aJp9.
