Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Workshop

On April 19th, 2024, the NYU Office of the Provost hosted an in-person, interactive, collaborative workshop for NYU faculty members wishing to explore and develop their own SoTL research project. Participants were joined by experienced SoTL practitioners and experts in educational technology, who helped them think through key SoTL questions, including: defining a research question, identifying technological resources, exploring options for collaboration, IRB requirements, research methods, data collection, and publishing. By the end of the session, participants gained a clearly defined research question and an actionable methodological design for their project.

Moderators: Trace Jordan (Clinical Professor, College Core Curriculum, CAS) and Ethan Youngerman (Director of Undergraduate Research, Office of the Provost)
